Finding Christmas in Stories — 8 Notecards (folded) with Envelopes
Fitting at Christmas and throughout the year — I have begun a new line of cards/notecards that offer simple artwork combined with extraordinary words! No one who knows us will be surprised that I am beginning the series with two C.S. Lewis versions and two J.R.R. Tolkien versions (same image for both from each author, with different words). CSL is the Lamppost and JRRT is the Middle Earth globe.
As the series title suggests, the chosen words are from places in stories and literature where the hope and incarnational joy of Christmas shine through. They are not all overtly "Christmas," but they capture the breathtaking, joyful expectation of all who love the appearance of the Savior.
These first 4 available versions are:
CSL/Lamppost 1— "Once in our world, a stable had something in it, that was bigger than our whole world."
CSL/Lamppost 2 — "The sun looks down on nothing half so good as a household laughing together over a meal."
JRRT/Middle Earth Globe 1 — "…the sudden joyous ‘turn’….a sudden and miraculous grace…"
JRRT/Middle Earth Globe 2 — "The shadow is only a small and passing thing. There is Light and High Beauty forever beyond its reach."
These cards come in sets of 8, with envelopes. You can choose a mix (2 each of the 4 options) or all 8 of 1 option! Those options are available in the drop-down options box in the shop. Add any special, custom mix requests in the message box when checking out.
